Omid Gollmer

Omid Gollmer steht für chillig-grooviges Gitarrenspiel gepaart mit sanft-geerdetem Gesang. Stilistisch bewegt er sich zwischen Folk, Pop und Jazz, mit einer guten Prise Blues und Soul. Entsprechend bekommen die von ihm dargebotenen Covers einen sanften, smoothen Charakter, der sich angenehm unaufdringlich an die Ohren der Zuhörer schmiegt. Omid's Spezialität sind die ruhigeren Töne, wie man sie etwa bei Simon & Garfunkel, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, oder Kings of Convenience findet. Als halber Österreicher und halber Iraner singt Omid auch Songs im steirischen Dialekt oder in persischer Sprache.

Omid spielt seit seinem 16. Lebensjahr Gitarre. Er spielte und sang bereits in vielen verschiedenen Bands und wirkte auch an Studioproduktionen mit. 2015 nahm er sein erstes Album mit Eigenkompositionen auf (Shadow Play, Hey!Blau Records). 2023 folgte das Album "Scratched light" (Recordjet). Neben seiner Tätigkeit als "dienstleistender" Künstler steht er als Singer/Songwriter - Solo als auch mit seiner Band The Sleepy Eyes - immer wieder auf der Bühne.
